Mission Debit Card Privilege
With Mission Debit Card Privilege (MDCP), Mission Fed may authorize your PIN and signature-based Debit Card purchase transactions, even if there is not enough money in your Checking Account to cover them. There is no fee to enroll, and no fee will be charged unless you use the service and the transaction results in a negative balance that is greater than $10. (Please check our fee schedule.)
For Breeze Spending Accounts, free overdraft protection for debit card transactions is available up to $20 without direct deposit and up to $100 with direct deposit. (Please check our fee schedule.)
MDCP is not a credit product; it is an overdraft protection program that is intended to be used occasionally for inadvertent overdrafts.
Find out if your account qualifies for this service and complete program details including how to enroll by logging into Online Banking, then going to Member Service, Account Service. Or call us at 858.524.2850 or 800.500.6328 or ask at any branch.
Mission Courtesy Pay Services
Mission Courtesy Pay is extended to members for their good account management. When there are not enough funds available, this service may pay checks and Automated Clearing House (ACH) items that are coming out of the account as payments. There is no fee to enroll, and no fee will be charged unless you use the service and the transaction results in a negative balance that is greater than $10. (Please check our fee schedule.)
Members whose accounts qualify for Mission Courtesy Pay will be notified by mail, or you can call us or ask at any branch.
Mission Courtesy Pay is not available on Breeze Spending Accounts.
Please note: Courtesy Pay services are not credit products. They are intended for occasional use only, and should not be relied upon when you know funds are not available in your account. For members who choose to participate in Mission Debit Card Privilege and already have Mission Courtesy Pay for checks and ACH items, the total amount is a combined overdraft limit for both services. If you have other overdraft protection plans in place, those plans will be utilized prior to Mission Debit Card Privilege.
You can opt out of Mission Debit Card Privilege or Mission Courtesy Pay services at any time. If you decide you would like to opt out, you can do so by visiting any of our branches, calling us at 800.500.6328; through Mission Fed Online Banking; or by mailing a letter to Mission Federal Credit Union, P.O.
