What does Mission Fed’s education partnership include?
Mission Fed partners with San Diego schools and school districts to support the entire education community, including district financial operations, staff and family financial wellness, and student financial education programs. Our goal is to strengthen schools from every angle.

How does Mission Fed support school districts?
We provide school-focused financial services designed to help districts operate more efficiently, including purchasing card programs, analysis checking, remote deposit capture, and treasury services. Nearly two-thirds of San Diego school districts trust Mission Fed to support their financial operations.

How does Mission Fed support teachers and school staff?
Through the Mission Money Advantage Program, we offer free financial wellness workshops and resources designed specifically for educators and school staff. Topics include retirement planning (CalPERS/CalSTRS), managing debt, budgeting, and homeownership in San Diego.

Mission Fed offers three core student programs:

These programs are designed to build lifelong financial skills early.

Is there a cost for schools or staff to participate?
No. Many Mission Fed education partnership programs, including financial wellness workshops and student initiatives, are offered at no cost to participating schools and districts.
Must meet membership and account criteria; terms and conditions apply. May not be used in conjunction with other promotional offers. Mission Fed employees are not eligible. Other restrictions apply.
1New member must be 18 years of age or older, the primary signer, and cannot be a signer on a Mission Fed account within the last 12 months. Youth Account joint signers are eligible. Account must remain in good standing to receive $25 deposit and donation. Checking and Spending account criteria apply.
2New member must open a Mission Fed Spending, Checking or Savings account and “Way to Save” program must be mentioned at account opening. New member, not on a Mission Fed Spending or Checking within the last 12 months; must be age 13 or older to open a Mission Fed Spending or Checking Account, must be primary member, and account must be opened jointly with a parent/legal guardian. If ages 16 or 17, no parent/legal guardian required.
3Mission 2 $ave only available for minors aged 1-12. Minimum opening deposit $1. Balances above $500 or after July 1 of the child’s 13th birthday earn the regular Savings rate. Account must be opened jointly with a parent/legal guardian.
