Mission Fed has a long history supporting the educational community in San Diego, going back to our start as Public Schools Federal Credit Union in 1961. With only 66 members, we began at a borrowed desk at the San Diego County Office of Education. In 1978 we changed our name to Mission Federal Credit Union, and expanded our membership to include all San Diegans in 2003. Throughout the years, we’ve continued that support and partnership to this day.
