SAN DIEGO, CA – Mission Federal Credit Union, San Diego’s largest member-owned, not-for-profit, full-service financial institution exclusively serving San Diego County, has launched a brand new marketing and advertising campaign that focuses on its expansive philanthropy, community engagement and diversity.

“While Mission Fed has always been dedicated to serving all of the San Diego community, our new campaign amplifies and solidifies this message. Our new market positioning is positive, hyper-local, caring, inclusive and most importantly – authentic and genuine,” said Debra Schwartz, president and CEO of Mission Fed. “This new campaign reinforces our long-standing commitment to our fellow San Diegans and the San Diego community at large, as we believe that—as a strong company with a long history in San Diego—we have a duty to give back.”

Mission Fed’s goal with the new campaign is to reach all San Diegans to tell them what it means to belong to Mission Fed, and tell them how much their membership means for San Diego. Schwartz added, “Our message is simple: community is everything. We want to remind San Diegans that Mission Fed is here for them, connect with them and give them a reason to believe in us. And we are reminding our fellow community members that—simply by banking with us, they do a lot of good for San Diego.”

Since 1961, Mission Federal Credit Union has been dedicated to strengthening, enriching, and improving the communities in which San Diegans live, work and play. Through partnerships with over 200 nonprofits, their commitment to a healthier, stronger, vibrant and resilient San Diego County continues to this day.

To date, Mission Fed’s largest partners are Junior Achievement of San Diego, Girl Scouts San Diego, American Heart Association, San Diego Food Bank and Rady Children’s Hospital. Many of these partners are included in the organization’s new public service-oriented TV, outdoor and digital advertising.
