San Diego Country Fair: Ozsome!

The 2019 San Diego County Fair is going to be Ozsome! From Dorothy and Toto to the Scarecrow, there’s fun for everyone with this year’s Wizard of Oz theme. Plus, if you’re an educator or work in the education field in San Diego County, you can get four $1 fair admission vouchers at any of our local 32 branches, starting Saturday, June 1! To take advantage of this opportunity, simply bring your school employee ID, paystub or credentials to any Mission Fed branch. Redeem vouchers at any of the San Diego County Fair’s ticket windows to get the actual admission tickets, good for fair entry any Friday in June.

Plus, fifteen Mission Fed “Hearts in the Community” will be placed throughout the San Diego County Fair on Friday, June 28. For every heart that’s found, the recipient can select a nonprofit or school to receive a $100 donation. It’s easy to play—find a heart, take a photo of yourself with it and email the photo and your nonprofit or school of choice to Hearts@MissionFed.com.

See our Official Rules online.

Check out the fun fair rides, food and events happening this year and then plan your trip.

If you’re a thrill seeker, then the San Diego County Fair is for you!

Experience the sensation of flying 60 feet through the air at 25 miles per hour with 3G acceleration on Endeavour, a much faster version of a traditional Ferris wheel. Or ride the Big Top Swinger or Sky Ride-Skyway for the best view of the fairgrounds. And families with young kids can enjoy dozen of age-appropriate rides like Baja Buggies and Tea Cups. Check out the fair’s website to see a complete list of rides including the new ones for 2019.

Foodies belong at the San Diego County Fair

Eating is a major San Diego County Fair activity, with more than 100 food booths, several sit-down restaurants, and food-and-beverage events. Whether you plan to try something new, stick to a classic like deep-fried Oreos, or bring a meal and only eat funnel cake, you’re sure to enjoy the food selection. Plan your fair dining experience now to make sure you sample all of your must-eats!
