$1 Million Mission Fed Money Match—thanks a million!
Our $1 Million Mission Fed Money Match program goes on year-round, but during Member Appreciation Week, we’re upping the ante, doubling the number of Credit Card and Debit Card purchase match winners each day from October 24 through October 30. That’s 90 winners each day!
We’re giving back $1 Million to our members in 2016 through our $1 Million Mission Fed Money Match promotion. Every day, winning members have their Credit or Debit Card purchase matched, and each month we match members’ Auto Loan payment, Home Loan payment or Direct Deposit. There’s no registration required; all you need is a qualifying account and you’re automatically entered to have your money matched!
These match winners are all real members, such as Tom M. who won a $240 Credit Card purchase match, which he is planning to share with his daughter, who is expecting a child. We also matched the Home Loan payment of more than $2,400 of another member, Virshali D. These are just a couple of the more than 12,400 (and counting) match winners this year! We’ve already awarded more than $700,000 winners so far in 2016.
#MyMissionFedMoment Social Media Drawing—win $200!
We’re proud of our members at Mission Fed, and we take great joy from the financial accomplishments they achieve, such as buying a home, a new car or opening a Savings Account.
Share or retweet our 200,000 Member Celebration video along with your Mission Fed Moment and use #MyMissionFedMoment, to be automatically entered into a drawing where five members will win $200 each! Share the Mission Fed 200,000 Member Celebration video between October 17-29 for a chance to win.
Get even more when you refer a friend or family member to Mission Fed
As a member who has helped us grow, we want to send even more benefits your way. Now through October 31, when you refer an eligible family member or friend to Mission Fed and they open a new Checking Account with us, we will give each of you $40 and you will be automatically entered into a drawing to win $200 (five referring members will win).
It’s easy to refer a friend to Mission Fed!
- Print a Refer a Friend coupon from our website or grab a few at any Mission Fed branch, fill in your information (so we know you referred the new member) and give the coupons to your friends, neighbors and family members!
- Then, your friend opens a Mission Fed Checking Account at any of our 30 branches and gives us the coupon.
- After your friend meets the minimum deposit and/or transaction requirements and timeline, we’ll deposit $40 into each of your accounts as a token of our appreciation. You’ll also be automatically entered to win $200.
Who can you refer?
Mission Fed is open to all San Diegans who either live, work or go to school in San Diego County. So your neighbors, friends, coworkers, family members or acquaintances in San Diego can come in and enjoy the benefits of being a Mission Fed member!
The perks of being a member include great rates on Home Loans, Auto Loans and Credit Cards, as well as convenient Checking Accounts and Savings Accounts with all the latest technology you would come to expect from a Credit Union, such as Online Banking, Mobile Banking and mobile wallet applications such as Apple Pay®, Android Pay™ and Samsung Pay® integration.
We give back to our members and our community, too
As the largest locally based financial institution exclusively serving San Diego County, Mission Fed is proud to support the San Diego community and local nonprofits throughout the year. And as a San Diegan, my family and I take pride in banking with a Credit Union that not only gives back to members through our $1 Million Mission Fed Money Match, but to organizations like the Living Coast Discovery Center, City of Hope, Urban Corps of San Diego and Father Joe’s Villages.
Mission for Nonprofits allows us to give back to the community on behalf of you, our member. We’ve provided grants to organizations such as the San Diego Zoo Global, a conservation organization dedicated to the science of saving endangered species worldwide, to assist in their animal research efforts. We also partner with the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, offering Kids Free days in October, and sponsor Mission Federal ArtWalk, a free community art festival, for 8 years.
It’s easy to feel proud when banking with Mission Fed. Mention Mission for Nonprofits when you open a Mission Fed Checking Account, and we’ll give you $25 and make a $25 donation to an organization of your choice based on our list of community partners. Visit Mission for Nonprofits to search our list of organizations and to see program details.
During Member Appreciation Week and always, your success is our bottom line, and we enjoy serving you.
