Thanks for caring and sharing!

Here are a few more ways we’re giving back to the local community in 2018:

Proud partner of Girl Scouts San Diego
Mission Fed is a proud partner of Girl Scouts San Diego, helping girls become courageous, confident and show character to help make the world a better place. Through our partnership, we promote financial literacy with programs like Mission 2 $AVE, supporting the Girl Scouts Cookie Sales program and helping Scouts earn their “Money Madness” Financial Literacy Patches.

Building communities of hope
Mission Fed’s employees and their families partnered with San Diego Habitat for Humanity on a construction project in El Cajon. Successful communities look out for one another, and we’re honored to take part in a program that builds strong and stable communities by making affordable housing available to families in need.

Marching with Pride
As Mission Fed’s drive for diversity, inclusion and equal opportunity continues, we were proud to join San Diegans in showing solidarity for and support of the LGBTQ community. We take pride in honoring our diverse community and being a part of this 44-year-old Hillcrest tradition.

Restoring beaches and protecting marine wildlife
The ocean shores and stunning beaches are part of what makes our San Diego community so beautiful. In hopes of preserving both our beaches and marine wildlife, Mission Fed joined over 200 volunteers in collaboration with ALT 949 and the San Diego County Chapter of Surfrider Foundation for a vital beach cleanup in Oceanside.

Teaching on a MAXimum level
Mission Fed believes in supporting local schools and teachers—a mission that’s been with us since our start as a credit union for the educational community. We’ve partnered with 105.7 MAX FM for Mission Fed’s MAX Out My Class program, which recognizes the dedication and passion teachers devote to their students each day. A $200 gift card is awarded to a new classroom each Tuesday during the school year.

Fighting food insecurity throughout San Diego
Throughout the month of September, Mission Fed joined the fight against childhood hunger by partnering with the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank on their Food 4 Kids Backpack Program. With a $5 donation at any Mission Fed branch, consumers helped fund the program which provided backpacks full of food to over 1,700 elementary school children who might otherwise go hungry when school is out for the weekend.

These are just some of the ways that Mission Fed shows care and support for our community. Now you have the opportunity to give back with us and be thanked for your loyalty. Enter the Care and Share Sweepstakes today!
