In 2023, Mission Fed kicked off a 10-year partnership with the San Diego Symphony and The Rady Shell. As the Official Credit Union of the San Diego Symphony and the proud namesake of the Mission Fed Community Green at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, we’re thrilled to support an organization that’s as passionate about community as we are.

Empowering Youth and Building Community Through Music and Financial Literacy

Our partnership with the San Diego Symphony goes beyond concerts. It’s about making a real difference in our community. That’s why we’re deeply committed to the Symphony’s community initiatives, especially those that focus on youth and education.

Through our ticket donation programs, discounted admission offers, and community outreach efforts, we strive to remove barriers and ensure that everyone can enjoy the transformative power of the arts.

High School Ambassador Program

We’re proud to support the San Diego Symphony’s High School Ambassador Program, offering 30 students a paid summer internship each year. This program offers a unique blend of job training, learning modules, and financial literacy education. At Mission Fed, we host these bright young minds at our headquarters, guiding them through hands-on financial education and helping them set and achieve their financial goals.

Music Connects Program

We’re also excited to sponsor the San Diego Symphony’s Music Connects Program, which brings community-based concerts to neighborhoods across San Diego County. This initiative expands the Symphony’s reach, making music and arts accessible to everyone. As part of our support, Mission Fed provides 200 tickets per year at no cost to recipients, including a $10 per person credit for food and beverage. Beneficiaries include teachers, nonprofits, and other community groups.
