Mission Fed interviewed local business and nonprofit leaders to discover how their career goals had changed from when they were children. While childhood goals sometimes played a part, these leaders were also influenced by how they grew up as well as what they discovered about their strengths and weaknesses over time. Read on to discover how these leaders’ ability to adapt and pay attention to their passions was influential in helping them succeed in their careers.

Mission Fed was proud to support Susan G. Komen San Diego RACE FOR THE CURE® The Walk to End Breast Cancer on Sunday, November 4. The walk brings a community of people together to raise awareness and funds to help end breast cancer. Mission Fed believes in the power of community, so in addition to sponsoring this walk, we also planted “Mission Hearts in the Community” hearts along the walk route. When found, each heart was worth a $100 donation to a San Diego based nonprofit. Learn more about this event now.
Now we have a fun way to care for our members and share with the local community—our new Care and Share Sweepstakes! Running November 1-23, this sweepstakes allows us to thank you, our member, for your loyalty and to invite you take part in supporting a local nonprofit with Mission Fed. One winning member will receive $500 and a $500 donation for a nonprofit of their choice. Enter now!
