As a member-owned cooperative, Mission Fed is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that helps guide the direction of our credit union and keeps the best interest of our members at heart.
We are honored to have these accomplished leaders of the San Diego community volunteer their time and expertise for the good of our members. Under their stewardship, we are able to continue to provide a safe and secure place for members to keep and grow their financial assets. Additionally, our board inspires and empowers our employees to deliver the highest level of service to members while maintaining financial strength and stability.

Meet Our Executive Staff
The Mission Fed Executive team is comprised of seasoned financial industry professionals committed to administering the Board’s direction and facilitating day-to-day operations of our credit union.
Debra Schwartz, President and Chief Executive Officer
Debra Schwartz is the President and CEO of Mission Fed, a position she has held since 2008. Debra is an experienced credit union executive with more than 25 years of financial services leadership in California. Her commitment and dedication to community shines through with her active participation in civic, industry and nonprofit boards, including chair and executive committee roles.
Doug Wright, Chief Financial Officer
Doug Wright has served as Chief Financial Officer for Mission Fed since 2016. He oversees all financial functions for the organization (accounting, treasury, business lending, collections, loss mitigation), plus leads human resources, and strategic guidance and analysis. Doug is an accomplished financial executive with 25 years of experience in commercial and community banking, including both functional and project leadership expertise.
Rob Miller, Chief Operating Officer
Rob Miller is the Chief Operating Officer and has been with Mission Fed since 2013. He leads branch and operations support, card services, digital channels, electronic check processing, legal and compliance, and the contact center. Rob has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a broad level of knowledge in retail banking, compliance, payment processing and digital technology.
Jojo Seva, Chief Information Officer
Jojo Seva is the Chief Information Officer at Mission Fed. With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, Jojo is a recognized leader in core banking system technology, artificial intelligence, enterprise digital transformation and information security.
Vince Nowicki, Chief Lending Officer
Vince Nowicki is the Chief Lending Officer at Mission Fed and has been with the credit union for over a decade. He is responsible for mortgage originations, loan servicing, secondary marketing, consumer lending, indirect auto lending, auto leasing, and insurance services. Vince’s career spans more than 28 years in consumer and residential mortgage lending including retail, wholesale, and bulk acquisitions.
Sherry Special, SVP Branch Network
As Senior Vice President of Branch Network, Sherry Special is a customer success veteran dedicated to serving credit union members. Sherry joined Mission Fed in 2002 and directs the branch network fleet and the Business Development department. She has over 30 years of experience in the financial service industry, primarily in the areas of consultative sales, customer service and consumer lending.
Neville Billimoria, SVP Marketing and Membership
Neville Billimoria is the Senior Vice President of Membership & Marketing has been with Mission Fed since 2002. He provides overall strategic leadership for all marketing, communications and community relations initiatives. Neville is an effective communications and values leader with more than 30 years of experience growing organizations through external marketing, media, and sales effectiveness.
Angelica Gamble-Wong, SVP Human Resources
As Senior Vice President, Human Resources & Learning and Development, Angelica Gamble-Wong directs the planning, development, implementation, and administration of all human resource programs and oversees training and development programs. Angelica is a well-versed HR professional with extensive experience in strategic HR leadership, and focus in talent acquisition, organizational development and employee engagement.
